About PrepperReady

PrepperReady is an independent UK resource for households that want to make sensible preparations for short disruptions. That can mean a power cut, severe weather, a temporary travel problem, or another interruption to ordinary routines.

Our aim is to make preparation manageable. Start with what you own. Write down what your household needs. Add missing items over time, and review the list twice a year.

We cite public information from UK services and established charities. We are independent and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Government or emergency services. Government advice can change, so follow the latest official guidance when it applies to your area.

Buying guides explain selection criteria and identify product details that need checking against the manufacturer's current page. We do not claim hands-on testing. Some links may earn a commission, as explained on our affiliate disclosure page.
